about

'Bræuw' means 'letters' in Southern Jutlandic, a dialect spoken in the Southern part of Denmark. In that region, you'll find a very peculiar shaped island called Als. It is said that Als was once known as the "island of gardens" - some might say, a magical place filled with flowers, paths, forests and old myths. This album tries to take you back to this forgotten place trough gentle and calm instrumental tunes - simply a letter from a distant past.

Musically, 'Bræuw' is a blend of atmospheres, where the modern classical meets the ambient and the sentimental meets the rough.
